Norfolk Press presents Morphosis, a curated collection of new work by Tobias Tovera whose paintings and metamorphic sculptures explore themes of energy and transmutation.
Using materials that transmute from one form to the next, Tovera’s work sparks connection with nature and through process and alchemy, creates a visual form that liberates both an intimate as well as an unknown aspect of the cosmos.
Morphosis features five new bodies of work from the Diffusion and Permutation series with an essay by Mark Levy, Ph.D., Emeritus Professor of Art History, California State University, San Francisco East Bay.
