AN ARTISTIC LIFE (HARD COVER) – Ronald Garrigues

The artist creations of Ronald Garrigues began with carved wooden sculptures when he was 30 years old. After a long hiatus in his artistic career, he produced 60 cast bronze sculptures between 1989-1998 which depict animals in danger of extinction, including the human being. Other series that followed, are works on paper including 36 Views of Mount Shasta (2007), The Big Bang-Somewhere East of Nowhere (2009) and One Billion More Humans by 2025 (2011). Also included in this volume of works are his Faces of War, with interpretations of: Romans VS Christians, WWI, WWII, Vietnam War and by the War on Terrorism. Historical reminders for those of us left to apprehend and not repeat.
