This book tells the story of a painting that was born out of lucid dreams, life experiences and environmental concerns. It was influenced by years of caring for the land, as well as seeing changes in the ocean. I paint in series, and these selections express immersive experiences in nature and my observation of its changes over time. In sharing some of my personal connection with the natural world, I am finally making explicit, in writing, what is implicit in these paintings.
