Daniel Ari first met poetry in 1985 and has had a tumultuous but ultimately rewarding relationship with the muse ever since. He constantly strives to de fine poetry for himself and others. He writes essays for Poet’s Market, gives guest lectures on E. E. Cummings, leads writing sessions at his home in Richmond, California, and continues to write, publish, perform and collaborate—and feels he’s gradually getting closer to that elusive definition. Daniel enjoys dancing, storytelling and improvisational play. His wife, Lauren Ari, and daughter, Mirabai, have contributed much more than art to this book.
