William Theophilus Brown’s life has been marked by travel and adventure, hard work, dedication, individual perseverance and resilience and artistic accomplishments that have ensured him a place in the history of art. Along with other artists, he combined abstract and figurative painting evolving into what became the Bay Area Figurative Movement.
